Early 1900's German schooled violin
reminiscent of American maker George Harvey Blair's workmanship.
As well, tone wood selection characteristic of Blair's preference
for local woods ( Idaho Spruce and Oregon Maple). Original
Brazilian rosewood pegs. Top has been removed and reinforced
along center join and bridge locale. Fitted with new bass bar
and soundpost. Tone is quick and responsive and evenly
balanced. Enjoyable to play! Set up with Superior
Despiau bridge, Wittner tailpiece and Infeld Red strings and
Kaufmann chinrest
