Pre-WWII violin built for the import/export trade. We make a joke that it's of Franconfile (German turning French) construction. It is well made with real corner blocks and a beautifully worn "Jolie Blonde" varnish.  It has a very expressive dynamic range, a rich woodsy resonance and is bursting with character.  Come play it!
